Authors At My Thanksgiving Feast

This week's Top Ten was inspired by The Broke and The Bookish
I did not have an answer for this week's actual Top Ten.
So I am borrowing from a previous week's Top Ten.

Question: Top Ten authors I'd love to have at my Thanksgiving Feast

(1) Ann Voskamp (One Thousand Gifts)

(2) Chris Fabry (Almost Heaven)

(3) Holley Gerth (God's Heart For You)

(4) Karen Kingsbury (Bailey Flanigan series)

(5) Lori Wick (Kensington Chronicles)

(6) Lynn Austin (Chronicles of the Kings)

(7) Renee Swope (A Confident Heart)

(8) r. William Rogers (Arkansas Valley series)

(9) Tracie Peterson (Yukon Quest series)

(10) Tricia Goyer (Where Treetops Glisten)

My Question:
What author(s) would you love to have at your Thanksgiving Feast?

Sounds like some great reads. I hope you get to read all of them.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Thanks, Sandee!

I have actually read all but a couple of them.

I noticed I really like reading series books. Just can't get enough of a good author.

I have some good friends who are authors so would like to invite them. How about a great combination of David Baldacci, James Brown, and Max Lucado?

I am writing a series based on the five stages of love: Annie's Love is about mother love, now published. The second will publish in December: Sophie Writes a Love Story, on puppy love.

Hi, Linda Kay!

Not sure if I have read any books by David Baldacci or James Brown. I would definitely invite Max Lucado. Actually I am saving Max Lucado for next week...authors I am thankful for.

Sure would love to have you over as well. I would also love to review `Annie's Love`. But, it would have to wait til 2015. I am behind on my reading. xoxo

What a fun idea to come up with a list of authors who you would like to have over for Thanksgiving! Good choices.;)

Of the ones you listed, Lori Wick and Tracie Peterson would be my first 2 picks. I love their books. Lori Wick is one of my all time favorites.
This is a fascinating idea. I often have thought of who I would like to share such a meal with. Some would be: St. Peter, Mary Magdalene, St. Francis, Pope John Paul, and Mother Teresa. And now add to that: Pope Francis, and Archbishop Cupich.
I would love to have such a supper with favourite authors, too. Some of my favourites are actually friends, too.
Hugs.
So interesting, and what a fun thought! Favorite authors: N.T.
Wright, R.C. Sproul, G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis. Chesterton and Lewis might have a hard time joining me at the Thanksgiving table, however. ;-) I just bought several copies of Voskamp's book 'Unwrapping the Greatest Gift,' a wonderful Advent book for families, to give to young families we know. Celebrating Advent is a daily reminder of what the coming season is really all about. My Sunday blog post is all about celebrating Advent, BTW.
