Review: The Melody of the Soul

`The Melody of the Soul` is historical fiction novel by Liz Tolsma. I chose to read and review this book because the cover and the title intrigued me. The setting is Prague, Czechoslovakia, 1943. Families are split-up, mom's and dad's going to concentration camps, some siblings going to camps others are not. The female protagonist Anna Zadokova was allowed to stay back and take care of her ailing Grandmother.

This novel has a little bit of everything from love to hate. I appreciate that each mention of Father God the word used to identify Him is capitalized so the reader would understand who is referred to. `The Melody of the Soul` is book one of a series. I look forward to reading the next installment in the Music of Hope series which will be published Fall 2018.
