Review Would You Like To Know? collection

About the collection:

In this new addition to the fantastic Would You Like to Know? series, six little books are featured in one boxed gift set. Each book offers a starting point for young children to explore some of the key points of their faith and gain a greater understanding of Christianity. Each title has accessible illustrations, an inscription page, and notes for parents. A wonderful gift for those getting to know the church.

Contains:
Would You Like to Know About God?
Would You Like to Know How to Pray?
Would You Like to Know Jesus?
Would You Like to Know the Bible?
Would You Like to Know the Story of Christmas?
Would You Like to Know the Story of Easter?

Each book in this collection is geared to helping the young child grow in his/her faith. The text is either written in simple sentences on a page or a simple paragraph. This organization is sufficient for the story the book is telling.

The authors, Tim Dowley and Eira Reeves, have done a wonderful job at helping the child move smoothly through each book. These paperback books can also be read to the child by an adult. Each colorful cover illustration is illustrated perfectly in introducing what each book is about. Examples, the book on prayer has three children praying and the book on Easter has Jesus riding on a donkey on Palm Sunday.

I feel each book sufficiently answers the question of what the book is about. These would make great gifts as a collection or individually as there is a place to put a child's name at the beginning of each book.
