Review: Plastic Ocean

`Plastic Ocean` is an Earth Science written by authors Charles Moore and Cassandra Phillips. The topic is the oceans `plastic soup`, the largest garbage dump on the planet. I believe the author's position on this subject is the deadly impact plastic is having on the land and ocean, with particles of plastic small enough to penetrate human skin causing a multitude of health problems.

This book is dedicated to the generation, not yet born, that creates the world where plastic pollution is unthinkable. Another book like this is, "Garbology: Our Dirty Love Affair with Trash" by author Edward Humes. This book follows three themes: living the message, the "tell-All" about plastics, and loving the ocean.

Tha author goes into much detail while explaining a process. Much of it is too technical for me. I enjoyed the book `Garbology`(Edward Humes) over this one. If you, the reader, would enjoy a more technical book I suggest you read `Plastic Ocean`

Yep, there is a lot of trash that goes overboard on vessels. Tons and tons of waste and trash.

Have a terrific day. ☺
