Review: A Heart's Obsession

"A Heart's Obsession" is book two of author Colleen Coble's "Journey of the Heart" series. The reader may recall our introduction to the series. The first edition was set in the year 1865, in the pristine locality of Wabash, Indiana as America celebrated the end of the Civil War.
Author Colleen Coble begins book two during the Indian Wars of the late 15th Century. Colleen did an excellent job of describing the characters and their emotions, as well as the elaborate scenes.
It took six years for a publisher to pick up the original series. This more recent series is a reprise of the original.
I vouch for this series to be read by Bibliophile's who enjoy Christian Fiction. I recommend this series be read in sequential order. Be sure to look for my review of the 3rd book, "A Heart's Danger", coming sometime in May. There are a total of six books in the complete series.
